New York Times editorial board: ‘There Is No Humane Execution’

In Sunday’s New York Times, the newspaper’s editorial board once again advocated for abolishing the death penalty as “any form of capital punishment is legally suspect and morally wrong”:

New York Times: “There Is No ‘Humane’ Execution

The paper of record also took Ohio lawmakers to task for their failure to have a “more public airing of its [lethal injection protocol’s] strengths and weaknesses, with input from medical and legal authorities.”

Hopefully Kentucky lawmakers will be more prudent than their peers to the north after the Kentucky Supreme Court’s recent ruling that our state’s lethal injection protocol is not legal.
