Nearly 30 Kentuckians already have signed up to attend the full NCADP conference schedule, Jan. 14-17 and we are still 30 days away from the start.
Nearly 200 others are signed up from states all over the country. This should be a fabulous event that will help build KCADP and help us move closer to abolition of the death penalty in Kentucky.
So, while you are celebrating Hanukkah or getting ready for Christmas and the New Year, take a moment to visit www.ncadp.org and choose the attendance package that fits your schedule. You can come one day or all three: to a reception at the Muhammad Ali Center on Thursday, Jan 14, or maybe only the banquet on Saturday, Jan. 16.
The Ali Center event honors Kentucky abolitionists who have contributed to the movement and is the only event that has a limited number of participants; it is 45 percent sold out. Get your ticket soon to guarantee admission.
