So is Kentucky executing Gregory Wilson tomorrow or not?

With just 22 hours before Gregory Wilson's scheduled execution, the Kentucky Supreme Court is yet to rule on Attorney General Jack Conway's petition to overturn a lower court's injunction.

As of now, Gregory Wilson’s execution is still blocked. Attorney General Jack Conway appealed that ruling to the Kentucky Supreme Court. And that’s the last we’ve heard. From Cincinnati’s WKRC 12’s Joe Webb:

In the last hour I’ve spoken with the Attorney General’s Office, the Department of Corrections and the Governor’s Office…none of them have heard a peep from the Kentucky Supreme Court.

It’s 20 hours before Gregory Wilson is scheduled to die, yet Gov. Steve Beshear, Conway, and the Department of Corrections don’t know what’s going on tomorrow. Just another example of how broken Kentucky’s death penalty system is.

As of now (9:46 p.m.) all protests and vigils are still going ahead as planned. Please visit this page for the latest list.
