Volunteers needed: KCADP to sponsor booth at Kentucky State Fair

With your help, we added more than 900 names to our database after last year’s Kentucky State Fair and delivered more than 2,000 postcards to the two Judiciary chairmen in the Kentucky State Legislature, urging them to advance legislation to end the death penalty for severely mentally ill persons. They have not yet do so, so KCADP will continue to press the General Assembly to act wisely and replace the death penalty in Kentucky.

We’re going back to the Kentucky State Fair this year from Aug. 16 through Aug. 26 and we need your help.

Registration online is fast and easy and even more secure than last year. Information you submit is only seen by KCADP staff.

Once again, we will have parking passes for volunteers so you do not need to pay to enter the State Fair. Each volunteer who offers to help for three hours will receive a pass. Bring a carload, work in the booth and then join your friends for great fun at the Kentucky State Fair.

Click here to register and help us end the death penalty in Kentucky.

Email us at staff@kcadp.org if you have any questions or if you have suggestions to help us be successful with this effort. And help us recruit others by posting this on your personal Facebook Page, and if you Tweet, please send it to your followers. Thanks!
