Thanks for your interest in starting a chapter of the Kentucky Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty (KCADP) at your high school, college, university, or law school. Not only will you be helping a worthy and just cause, but doing so also will look great on your applications to colleges and law schools as well as resumes.
School chapters are key to KCADP’s growth and raising awareness in Kentucky about why the death penalty is costly; out of step with modern thinking; risky; unfair, broken, and arbitrary; and unnecessary; and that victims’ families deserve more care and compassion.
KCADP chapters’ primary purpose is to raise support for and awareness of our mission. Chapters can participate in a variety of activities throughout the year, such as fundraising events, educational programs, and public relations opportunities.
Contact Don Vish, KCADP’s director of outreach, education, and advocacy, at donaldvish@att.net or 502.636.1330 for more information.
